"There are not a lot of places to eat out in Inuvik, but Alestine’s really stands out! Currently open only for dinner, we suggest you arrive right when it opens—the place isn’t large and it was full within 10 minutes. Despite being short staffed, we were served delicious meals (tacos, burgers) direct from the food truck kitchen with smiles and good humour. Save room for the cheekily-named “piece of tail” dessert! Highly recommended"

"The restaurant and lounge are connected to the Mackenzie Hotel which was the reason I chose this hotel in the first place. I 'm glad I did because everything was in one place and you didn 't have to leave the hotel for food or drink. I was impressed with the menu and selection however the prices are northern prices and there is no draft beer on tap."
