"Not often we get to pass here, but always had lovely food. A really nice chippy, our order varies but I usually always ask for the mild curry sauce which is a favourite side. Chips are really good as expected."

"Had a nice dinner tonight with my daughter. the eating was delicious and fast served and the staff was excellent especially racheal that my daughter eating immediately got ordered as she was hungry and she loved the cocktail racheal made her also. would highly recommend. will definitely be back. many thanks for a very pleasant meal."

"I recently won the complott for festive afternoon tea for two, so I went today to have it! I was not disappointed that everything was nice to the atmosphere, the staff and especially the food! has really enjoyed the glowing wine! beautiful little place, would definitely recommend one visit and I will be back soon."

"Excellent! Comfy room, great breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff, gorgeous gin distilled on-site, cool decor, only 30mins walk into Stanley and very close to Beamish Museum. Blue Bell pub next door does a nice meal too if you fancy eating elsewhere, but the food here is great too. Can't fault it"
