"Really poor. We were so looking forward to a takeaway and spent most of the afternoon discussing what we were going to have. This restaurant struggles with even the basics! I’ve never had a tikka masala that tastes like Heinz tomato soup before! Watery thin sauce and overall really poor quality. Saag paneer had 2 pieces of cheese in and was overpowered by garlic. A grand total of 3 hairs (not ours) pulled out. We will not be returning and after spending near on £140 for a takeaway for 8, I feel we would have been better off with a supermarket microwave meal. The only reason I’ve given 2 stars is that one of the dishes was a lamb madras and this was palatable."

"What an amazing and fantastic find! A traditional local pub that was super busy, super friendly and every possible dog you could think of! Yes, definitely dog friendly ..only popped in for half hour before heading to the Cranleigh Arts Centre to see my brother-in-law perform.. we ended up staying for an hour and getting to meet some lovely Cranleigh locals whilst sitting next to an open fire! Ps food looked good also! Fab atmosphere"

"Awesome dinner for my birthday. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a local pub that excels in good honest food. The chef is so close to being a genius . The starters (Brie and Mackerel Pate were close to perfect. a bit warmer and a bit...more Mackerel and a smaller size and they would be perfection. I mean wow. The Chicken Pie and Ribeye steak however are there. Completely amazing. The pie was so good, I want the recipe and still i wouldn't be able to do it as well. The waitresses have their own styles which compliment each other perfectly. Nickie was working a bit later so we got chatting to her but both are exceptional. I would highly recommend"

"The staff here are really friendly and always help you choose the perfect meal at subway. It is in the heart of the cranleigh high street. It is the perfect place for a nice (and healthy) fast food sandwich for a low cost. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice bite to eat."
