"Fancied a change of our usual takeaway cuisines and love Thai food, but normally eat it in restaurants. Heard some nice things about this place so decided to give it a go. Food was absolutely gorgeous! Arrived on time through Just Eat and was lovely. So tasty and very much restaurant standard! Also, the duck in the stir fry was possibly the best I’ve every tasted. Will definitely be ordering again soon in the near future! Our new favourite takeaway!"

"Other than maybe down the Quayside this is the best Chip Shop in the area. The staff are really friendly, the portions are generous and the food is delicious."

"Wonderful breakfast, scrambled egg excellent. Sour dough bread from shop next door was fantastic. Stayed for a very long time as chatting away and no hassle from the staff. Would love this place nearer to my home!"

"Came here post-match at the weekend. The food here was so tasty, every little section of my tray was delicious! Would definitely recommend to try something different! Feedback for improvement would be cast iron chairs were a little uncomfortable. Think we will get quite bored of the menu quite quickly as it's quite small (but plus side service was v quick! Table was dirty when we were first seated. We got 3 check backs from 3 different waiters while eating our mains which is always a little annoying, but better than no check backs I suppose! Will be back!"

"Nice place but busy when we arrived , had to wait 30 minutes to get to front of queue. No problem, it’s a popular place. When my heavily pregnant daughter in law asked for a table for 4 adults and 1 high chair for her daughter, she was offered a bench seat , which she declined as she needed back support. There was a table for four available but this was offered to 3 people behind us in the queue, as the waitress said she wouldn’t put a high chair on that table , Eventually we sat at the bench table and had an adequate meal , but surly service. When I paid I gave a large tip and spoke to the manageress about the joint lack of communication between us and poor customer service to a pregnant lady . The manageress did not care and was only upset that her waitress had been criticised for her petulant and poor customer service. This café usually gets 5 stars , but I suggest it’s best avoided if they are busy."

"Eating here is exquisite and the service is top notch. I had the steak that was huge and was drowned in the blue cheese sauce. my friend ordered the shoulder of the lamb, I stole something and it melts in your mouth. I could not recommend this restaurant anymore."

"My son his partner have taken me to Sopranos for lunch several times the food is wonderful,beautifully presented,very reasonably priced.The service is excellent. My son had calamari starter (enough for a main). They had steak I had chicken fajitas. A real gem on Wallsend High Street."

"Ive neen going to.Frydays for thrir fish since they opened. I cant comment on other items from the massive menu as im more than happy with their fish chips. They're always coolef fresh to order and served steaming snd crispy. My only complaint, if it is a complaint at all, is that their jumbo cod is too big! It seems to be cooked for too long, resulting in a huge dry piece of cod coated in overcooked batter. Ive mentioned it a few times and persisted. But they never msnaged to get it quite rigjt for me I know such large fillets can be cooked to perfection because I often eat them when I pass a rival shop 100 miles away but my simple answer for Frydays is to order the next size down and enjoy the perfection!!"

"Great pub that now has a range of vegan options on the menu. We had classic vegan burgers, sweet potato fries and onion rings. Very good quality food and great value. Been here several times and always left happy. There are also vegan falafels, frankfurters, nachos, grilled halloumi. A great friendly riverside pub in the trendy Ouseburn area of Newcastle."
