"Visited for a takeaway one night this week and sadly was a really average meal. Mixed kebab starter was dry, ordered a butter chicken which was definitely just a korma and overall the flavouring was tasteless and lacked any seasoning throughout the meal. A real shame as this was the first evening of our holiday, reviews are somewhat half decent but coming from kent this Indian meal doesn’t have a touch on our local takeaways. If you like paying £25 for a meal you could cook yourself this then is the restaurant for you."

"An enjoyable venue with friendly and accommodating staff, good food, and an ample serving. Fairly often when out I tend to order a side, as the main meal doesn't quite fill, but on this occasion, the side could've easily been done without (see photos for...reference). Top Marks for their Banoffee Tart/Pie too, very generous in size and bloody tasty, as was the boar burger and everything else that accompanied."

"Went for the first time on a Friday night and it won’t be our last. Loved everything about it, the decor, the background music, the candles on the tables, the atmosphere, the friendly staff and most importantly the food. I had the mixed starter and my husband the chicken satay (I did wish I’d had some chicken satay in my starter too), mains I had the duck curry and hubby the pad Thai, both were excellent. My curry was full of tender meat and fresh fruit and vegetables, never had grapes in a curry before but they were fab and everything was piping hot. Ice the owner came round several times for a chat and checking we were happy, you couldn’t fault his enthusiasm and passion. He persuaded us to try his homemade sugar free white chocolate cheesecake which was very light and delicious. We’ll definitely be back. Booking is advisable as it is popular and take cash if you can to save them the card fees. They do accept cards as well. Parking: Free car park 100m up the side road Swan Road. "What a shame. a nice pub. the accommodation was good and clean, although the shower chair in the disabled room was too low to operate. but eating was terrible. all frozen cooked by frozen soggy. no apologies of the owner, more than my fault for complaining."
