"Absolutely beautiful meal. The seafood grill was lovely and the raspberry sorbet and chocolate ice cream were fantastic. Add in what I believe was a homemade cookie and you get a wonderful meal. The staff were polite and attentive. Will definitely return."

"As always it was immaculately clean, the staff is all friendly and attentive. it is covid safe and they are trying to calm those who are nervous to eat out in these difficult times. the tables are well spaced and wiped for each customer, the menus are easy. nothing is too much annoying, eating is excellent and plentiful. since discovering it a few years ago it has become ours. highly recommended and all my family and friends visit now too!"

"Me and my husband came here for the first time today for our 10 year anniversary, and it ended up being the best meal out we've ever had so far. The food came out at an impressive speed, and the quality did not disappoint either. Our meals were delicious and reasonably priced for their outstanding taste and quality, and Kyle's service was absolutely outstanding as well, so really tonight was flawless. We were greeted by a lovely host, and the restaurant itself looked clean and presentable, and you get the feeling you're dining in a really nice place. We'll definitely be back for the next special occasion, and we'll be bringing friends and family along with us. The food we've ordered: Starters: Calamari Scallops Mains and sides: Surf and turf with 8oz fillet steak, medium rare Wedge salad with garlic mayo and grana padano Seasoned fries Beef dripping steak sauce 10oz black angus fillet mignon, rare Wedge salad with ranch dressing and croutons Peppercorn steak sauce Dessert and drink: Creme brulee Espresso martini"

"Stayed at the Black Bull for four nights and it was just perfect. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with everything you might need. The bed linen was high quality I slept like a log! and the hospitality tray was very generous. I was in Room 1 which had a bath and shower, and which overlooked Blidworth Main Street. It was great to see village life going on! The host, Elaine, was vey kind and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious beautifully cooked as were the evening meals (I ate there one evening and explored further afield on the other evenings). A fascinating and historic pub, carefully and perfectly restored. Very good value and highly recommended."

"We have to say the food here has improved drastically. The menue is fun and has some great items on it. The ultimate burgers could feed a whole village, they are that big. The taste and presentation not the food is brilliant. Also the prices are extremely reasonable given how much food you end up with. Excellent portion size, tasty food, great price. Clean toilets, outdoor play area and plenty of parking. We highly recommend coming here for a family meal"
