"Made a reservation at what we thought was this restaurant, turns out we booked the wrong place!!! Owner came to have a chat, see if he could squeeze us in at a later time. Great personal service to try and resolve, really friendly helpful staff, when it was our mistake not theirs. Will definitely be going back (after booking correctly this time), as we hear nothing but great things about the menu. Thank you for taking time to talk to us while you were so busy. Looking forward to revisiting."

"Unexpectedly pleasing, we wanted to go to kelston round hills, but could not park near and decided to have a look at the cheese shop that has much more than just cheese. there is also a footpath that leads behind to the bristol Bath cycle and the river bank on the other side of the saltford marina. toasties were great, rose wein was excellent, the cake might be a bit heavy, but beautiful, top day out!"
