"Came with my partner and little boy for a rare meal out, ordered 2 mixed grills, kids meal and some sides. Everything on mixed grill was lovely except for the gammon which was horrendously salty and rendered the meat completely inedible unfortunately. The reason for my low stars didn’t lie with the food, but sadly the staff who appeared rude, aloof and watched our table like hawks for the entirety of our meal, at one point there was 3 staff and the chef looking over and staring. It made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout the duration of our meal. We left half our meal and paid immediately not able to get out of the uncomfortable experience quick enough! Was a relief to leave those doors and we shan’t return under any circumstances. Avoid this establishment. Paid £70 to be made to feel like we’re doing something wrong!"

"Visited here on Sunday with the family for lunch have to say wasn't disappointed the food was fantastic and obviously freshly cooked enjoyed by all. They only thing I would say is that I didn't know what wine to order as couldn't see any on display as came in to the bar/restaurant but minor thing . Will defiantly be returning well done and keep up the good work ."

"We had taken care of tonight. a Chinese meal with 4 guests to share and not in the situation, our regular kantone due to lockdown we use a risk and went to sunrise for the first time. wow, no problems! booked 6 meals for 6,20pm ready they were ready to 6,24pm, absolutely piping hot, and the quality was excellent. sweet and sour king prawn, lemon huhn, crispy beef and special malaysian chilli, no complaining at all. either we were a bit happy or this place really deserves it's 4.5 review, well made to all affected, great eating, great service, good prices."

"Lovely pub, great staff, food was good. I had the lamb which was lovely, friends had the lasagne which unfortunately was quite dry, needs more sauce but was tasty. Ambience is lovely and the server was amazing. For dessert I had the sticky toe pudding which in my personal opinion was awful, very gritty due to being made which dates. Didn't have sultanas in it which I hate so have it a go on the recommendation of the server so he didn't charge me for it as I didn't like it after all. Apart from that didn't have to wait long and there was a fair few family members in attendance."
