"Very quiet campsite. Must have a bug with the shower mitigator but good, little world, nice welcome, thank you. Direct access to GRs leading to the das soul pass in the direction of Duilhac, then a fork to reach the Galamus Gorges at the level of parking 4. The environment is beautiful, I'd like to come back to explore more."

"We stopped for lunch at a very sweet old mill restaurant on the road between the Gorge of Galamus on our way to Peyrepertuse. Catalan! Outdoors, beautiful. There was a tent set up with seating for perhaps 40 people but it was not needed at lunchtime the day we were there. There were about a dozen people traveling by motorcycle sitting at a table under a tree. Idyllic. The site is also a campground; it must be really really fun to stay there!Our first question to the amiable Catalan woman who took our order was "Is the fish local?"Oh no, she shook her head. "It comes from a town 1 or 2 kilometers away." We loved that! (that might be a 5-6 minute walk.)The vegetarian in our group was dismayed to find that the omelette arrived accompanied by a spectacularly beautiful half potato that had been scraped out of the peel, mixed with copious amounts of ham and lovingly returned to the potato shell. "Oh no," says our beautiful waitress, "I am also a vegetarian. I can get you vegetables to substitute." "Where do you eat?" We eagerly asked. Her reply was disheartening, "I never eat in restaurants. Nothing around here is vegetarian."Carnivores, rejoice! Vegans, shudder!"
In beautiful weather you can even eat in the outdoor area.

"We dropped in as we were driving through in a group of 6 people. Lunch time had finished but we were welcomed anyway by the nice lady running the place. The house and the interiors are somewhat worn but the athmosphere is good. Despite not knowing any french and the host not speaking any english she managed to explain the menu to us. We all went for a starter and a main course all of which were delicious. The house wine was the only part that I would not go for again. The full meal with lots of bread and wine was at EUR 20 per person."
