"Mexican with a Louisiana twist! This is by far one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Baton Rouge. They make a mean margarita and the Pacifico is one of my favorites. They also have a quinoa dish that is good enough to make you forget you're eating something that would normally taste like cardboard. It's covered with chicken, beef, avocado, what I think was a salsa verde sauce and an array of other flavorful delights.<br/ <br/ Mestizos is now one of the few restaurants in BR that has paleo and whole30 approved meals! That can be tough to find in the land of the fried!"
