"I experienced the retreat after two weeks on holiday in Germany this summer and tried Kurt's hopes to find a cure. What a great place!!! It has a wonderful atmosphere and the food brought me back in Europe without ever having to leave Atlanta. The wine list has some super interesting wines from Germany that you usually do not see on wine lists, so you should be sure to check them. I had the Sauerbraten and my date had the Bergforelle both were very good. We sat in the beer garden and enjoyed the atmosphere. This is a great find in our backyard."
Kurt's from Duluth is a good place for a bar to a cocktail after work and be able to sit with friends or alone, But above all, there are robust German meals with matching sides like potatoes as well as salads.
