"We came to this secret jewel of a business last weekend with our two young kids whilst travelling to Taggerty. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was beyond professional and polite. "The first thing you'll notice at the Marysville Bakery is the way they do ordering: there's no table service, with ordering done at the counter, and when it's a bit busier, you take a ticket, much like a supermarket deli, and wait for your number to be called out, whilst meals that need to be prepared are called over the P.A. after you order, much like a game of bingo. It wasn't too busy at 12:30pm on a Tuesday when I went, though it picked up very quickly at around 1pm.<br/ <br/ I had the steak pie: I wasn't able to tell if it was indeed a steak pie if it was, their interpretation does not involve any degree of chunkiness but nonetheless, it was a decent pie, with tomato sauce included (the way it ought to be). <br/ The coffee wasn't as great as I hoped: I had a cappuccino, which I found way too milky. Then again, as someone who prefers coffee black, I might just be a little bit biased.<br/ <br/ Overall, it was a good stop for a simple lunch, but nothing too special about it."

"Excellent , Service and facilities all really good. Friendly staff too. The only thing I would recommend for the hotel is to maybe touch up some of the paintwork in the rooms. There was quite a large chunk missing in my room. The area is beautiful and it’s great to see it finally all growing back after the fires in 09. Food drinks: The breakfast was quite good Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet, Great value"
