"The restaurant is located in the popular Front West area on a corner. Larger parking spaces are not nearby, but you must be lucky to find one along the road. And we had three, we could park almost in front of the restaurant. Before entering the restaurant, you can take a look at the terrace (for about 50 – 60 guests), which is of course not managed. Here you can sit wonderfully in beautiful weather, on board hedges, shrubs and high plants off the road, if necessary protected by large, white, square umbrellas. A little oasis in the middle of town! Now in winter there are two tables with fabric tablecloths, high windlights and ashtrays, chairs with high-rest seat cushions, under a large umbrella and with heating mushrooms against the cold. Such comfortable smoking places are not found so often. Environment The three interconnection rooms and the adjacent niches with a total of about 70 seats make a very welcoming, very well maintained impression. The predominant color is white, comfortable high-row chair, white padded, white/cream-colored walls with economical image decorations (Spanish motifs). The tables are sufficiently far apart, striking, but simple decorations and tasteful wind lights on all window benches and tables, small wall lights that glow up and down, everything fits! Service We immediately felt that we are here and are welcome as guests. After the very friendly reception we had the choice between 3 tables. The service is discreet in the background, not annoying yet available as required. It will be happy to laugh without losing the appropriate distance, and always we had the feeling that you care about every guest, served with constant kindness, charm and professional! After enough time for the selection that was not so easy, the orders were received quickly and attentively, you have the desire to come immediately. After the homepage “Spanish-international cuisine”, the restaurant offers a wide range of appetizers and a large number of hot and cold tapas. To complement the map there are selected day offers. The costs are in the upper price segment, but are completely justified in the price/performance ratio. There are eleven different fish dishes offered to five different fish types, fifteen meat dishes, various soups, salads and desserts. Everyone finds something here. We wanted to take tapas first. And they are offered here in large numbers, so the selection fell hard. For all tapas, fresh warm bread was not necessary, fresh, thick, airy slices with beautiful crust, at the same time wonderfully juicy and firm enough, crumbs and crust very tasty. Alioli con pan for 4,90 € homemade garlic canonnaise with fresh bread, with a bright quark cream with cucumber and garlic, reminiscent of tsatsiki, and a tomato paste, a piquant but not sharp tomato sauce The Ailoli is really nice creamy and with a clear garlic aroma, but not exaggerated and for us perfect, tasteful about any doubt. Quark cream and tomatoes can also convince. Jamon Serrano for 9,90 € The Spanish Serranoschinken with its lean, small fat-massed meat, from the touch of the slightly skinned domestic pig, is of delicate, slightly salty taste with a mild-aromatic touch, perfectly cut, a great pleasure! Pimientos de padron for 6,90 € The small green peppers fried in olive oil, slightly browned and sprinkled with coarse sea salt met our taste, the pods pleasantly mild, with wonderful own taste and not sharp as we like them. A small bowl with Ailoli was also added for this. Carpaccio de buey for 11,90 €, Carpaccio of Argentinian beef fillet with rocket and parmesan thin slices, maybe a bit too thin, to rocket and parmesan a few raw mushroom slices and two lemon notes, with little ground black pepper. I couldn't taste what the oil tasted, what it was with which it might have been seasoned. For me, the fine beef onions tasted at least very uninhabited or even strange, without defining exactly what it was. Also my two companions could not really be friends with this court. We only heard positive comments from the neighboring table about these appetizers. Boquerones en vinagre for 8,50 € The acidic ardella filets with garlic belong to my absolute favorite tapas. The tapas classic, marinated in vinegar and olive oil, with garlic and parsley, came to the table quite differently than expected. I learned how to do them in Spain and make them home. In very good fruity olive oil, enriched with tomato pieces, the vinegar was no longer clearly expressed. This own recipe of the cook did not entirely find our favors, about the very good quality of all ingredients that you can of course say nothing negative. Steak Tatar for 14,50 € The homemade tartaric acid from Argentine Black Angus Rind with bread could completely convince. All necessary ingredients were draped around the first-class meat that was only divided. Everyone could use salt and pepper mills to taste and use the ingredients as desired. How “destroyed” we did not make it a main course. The tapas sections were plentiful of the crowd and along with the excellent bread and the delicious Alioli that was plentiful was simply impossible to create. But my favorite dessert had to be for me. Crema Catalana 8,90 € Homemade vanilla cream with caramel crust with fruit It was classically served in a simple tone dish. The sugar crust is very crisp, I had to pierce with the fork, but I like it! The Crema itself as expected light vanillig, simple, creamy, a pleasure! The many different fruits and a small cream finished the finish! Even the espresso was perfect. High quality of processed products, attentive competent service, an ambience for feeling well, what do you want more? Come back and enjoy more tapas and more! The reservation is strongly recommended."
