Went just before 9 am luckily found a table for 2 . Place is packed and all tables are a little too close for comfort and privacy. Unfortunately Service is a hit and miss sometimes a little arrogant and dismissive. But the breakfast always pleases as it's consistently good . They do a good coffee . In East Bentleigh /Bentleigh it's my first choice . If you want a table probably best to reserve. read more.

We used to frequent this cafe in our local area, but have only been twice since it changed hands. This morning was the second time but we probably won't go back. The coffee wasn't great when it came 15 minutes after our order...we didn't finish it....and our meals were just average. Merchants Guild is certainly not the same as it was. Shame read more.
