I wasn't expecting to find tasty authentic Asian cuisine in Dongara, so Dat n Thu's was a nice surprise. I was in the mood for some Vietnamese, but I notice that they also had a number of western dishes on the menu as well as a curry, so there's something for everyone. "We were recommended to eat here and were pleased that we did! Quite nice ambience and nice young staff to take orders. The menu is extensive and mains would be in the $25 to $35 range.We had an entree of calamari for $12 and it was HUGE and easily enough for 2 to share.For mains we had the snapper with scallops which was quite rich, generous and tasty.The chicken macadamia was equally pleasing. Both about $28.No room for anything else.The next day we stopped in for lunch as it was sunny outside. We ordered the bean burrito and decided to share ...cost $16. The chef halved it, put it on 2 plates with salad and condiments . Very kind and SO delicious.It was plenty of food with the bread too.Definitely the best place to eat we thought!"

"The food and service in this place is really the merit of a 5-star review!! We had the lobster bruschetta, whole scallops cooked in garlic butter in their bowls and the garlic chili prawn linguine. The attention to detail was amazing! The food was FRESH, deliciously cooked for perfection and the presentation was first class. The staff regularly checked our drinks and asked for feedback about the food. This place is a rare find and must be experienced!!"
