We visited this restaurant on a trip to Durham for the Lumiere festival. We were very pleased that we had booked, as the restaurant was packed and the staff had to turn people without bookings away while we were there. Despite it being at such a busy time, the service was very prompt, helpful and friendly, the food tasty and well presented and we very much enjoyed our meal. We would recommend it as a place to dine. DON'T GO THERE!! I had to give a minimum of 1 star in order to leave a review, but we actually walked out without eating due to a disgustingly rude woman on the front reception who was aggressive, sarcastic, vicious and a rude bully who has a horrendous manner of treating and speaking to customers. Before that experience we had gone there for a long time! It's a shame how 1 bad employee can ruin everything. read more.
