Really nice little cafe. Staff are always friendly and the food tastes good too. Some great options for brunch on a weekend.

"Recently moved away from Mackay and have missed this restaurant. It was the first place I came to for dinner upon my return. It is still excellent. Excellent food (calamari is the best I’ve ever eaten). Excellent service, staff are very attentive. And Kevin is also an excellent host. Would give more stars if I could"

"We went into the Dining area and it smelled very very strongly of some type of Chemical and I said as much to the 3 people who were milling around the desk...I said to them gee it really stinks in here and they said no it doesn't smell at all...so we decided to sit outside instead of being assailed by this horrible chemical smell...I went back in to get a drink and there was this staff member spraying that awful smelling stuff all around the Restuarant...it must have been some sort of deodorant but the smell was sickening particularly since we would be eating in there..the food was very very poor for the price...and the staff standoffish and all in all I will not be back anytime soon..."

"Very warm, friendly and quaint cafe. My daughter and I dined here and shared a seafood crepe and side salad. The crepe was delicious, as were the prawns within, but the seafood was scant with way too much white sauce and only a teensy bit of lobster in my half and none in the other. The side salad was fresh and delicious. We shared a simple sugar and lemon crepe for dessert which we both loved. I would definitely dine here again, maybe choosing a different main. The only thing we thought was unusual was that they don't offer tap water for the table. All drinks need to be purchased which detracted a little from the experience."

"After winning a dinner voucher for $80 and hubby's birthday we decided on going for dinner. We were recommended the special for Spartan for two. Well I shared this with my teenager boy dumb idea as he ate most of it as all it really was a mixed grill. Nothing special. Hubby ordered Octupus (expensive) but received two large pieces and it was overcookrd. Octupus cook well is not rubbery. Other son ordered soulivki and it was very chewy. Greek beer was great. And the girls that serviced as were very lovely. Very expensive and really not that special. I am a cook so I am very hard to please. But we still enjoyed our night out. And really we only had too make up the bill. So for what we paid for all good. Would I rush back. No. Enjoy"
