"We recently had dinner at this resturant as our daughter works at the resort. What you would call fine dining at its best. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and the service was top class. If you want to experience...dining at its best this is the place. Warm and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended."

"Anton Grimus and his crew will make you the best to go coffee on the mountain. It's so easy to find and get a great coffee that all the staff and guests to the mountain enjoy too. Just get off the shuttle bus at Pension Grimus and walk up to the Grimus Grind Window - who ever is on duty will make your coffee experience the best it can be! The locals trust it as the greatest so of course so will you!"

"My husband and I was resigned to the fact we would be eating sub par food while staying at Buller because let's face it.. food at the snow is usually blah.<br/ <br/ But wow. So happy we went here for dinner last night. The restaurant was warm and spacious. <br/ <br/ They have no high chairs so the kids just sat in the normal seats which makes it difficult for them to stay seated.<br/ <br/ They give prawn crackers as starters they did add some spices to it which made it different. <br/ <br/ We had the duck which was delicious.. duck was flavoursome and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef tomahawk was nicely presented but I felt it wasn't anything special.<br/ <br/ It was nice for them to have a kids meal available which varies each night according the the staff. This particular night it was chicken and beans on rice. <br/ <br/ My complaints would be that they charged $3 for babycinnos and $7.5 for two scoops of ice cream, which, I felt is ridiculously expensive for some warmed up frothed milk. <br/ <br/ The staff were very courteous, lovely and very accommodating. The food quite delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful.<br/"

"Enjoyed a beautiful 2 course meal (entree and mains) here. Wish we had room for dessert. Warm house made focaccia bread to start (complimentary) was beautiful. Entrees were perfectly sized and very tasty, wished the bruschetta had a hot element however flavours were great. Mains...were the highlight of the night with beautifully cooked duck full of flavour and delicious stuffed chicken breast with an INCREDIBLE beurre blanc sauce. Staff were great and made the experience very enjoyable. They went above and beyond with some samples of mulled wine we can’t wait to enjoy next visit!"
