Loads of vegan options which was important to the other person with me, we really enjoyed the fried mushroom and pineapple, seemed like a really weird combo to me, but it was actually really good. Decor is outdated, be ready for it. View all feedback.
What Tony B dislikes about Bodhi Garden:
Seems they're more used to people sharing plates, but we chose to do otherwise, and possibly threw the system. Our meals arrived in sequence with a small gap between each serving, even though we were the only four in the cafe at the time. Corn soup came first, and the large serving was large, followed by 2 sweet and sour mushrooms (very gently flavoured) and then a mixed vegetable dish. Decor is old world Chinese caf... Lots to pick from with an extensive menu. Not for meat lovers. Friendly staff. A large choice of teas to drink. We shared a few items and enjoyed them all. Very fresh ingredients with mild flavours that balanced each other.
Best vegetarian place ever!! so much to choose from and the prices are great too. the food is so delicious. and the staff were awesome all the way through. will definitely be regular here as we visit Orange often. some plates come on steaming hot plates. everything made fresh. and it's the one vegetarian restaurant i will have the joy of working through the menu as the choices are soooo good.
We took a large family gathering to this little friendly and humble restaurant. Among the group were some vegetarians, a vegan and some die-hard carnivores. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the banquet that was provided. We have been eating here for many years and are never disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious and the carnivores never miss the meat. The host is attentive and helpful in catering to different dietary needs. Trust me, and just go. My favourite is the BBQ kebabs on a hot plate but everything is mouth-watering.
I have been to this restaurant twice now and it hasn't disappointed. The look of the restaurant could do with some work but the food is amazing. I am not a vegetarian but wow this food is good. The service is also very friendly and efficient. Even if your not a vegetarian do yourself a favour and check this place out.
