"My husband and I called in for a scone and a cuppa two days ago as we were day-tripping around the Tablelands. The scones were delicious with jam and cream, but the service was less than friendly, in fact we felt like we were in the middle of a domestic dispute. I called out thank-you as we left and was totally ignored."

"Stayed in Ravenshoe for the night and had dinner in the Ravenshoe Hotel. So glad we did. We were met by a lovely lady who settled us in the dining room beside the beautiful open fire place. Our meal was out really quickly and was lovely and hot and tasty, great pub food.We couldn't fault the service or friendliness in Queensland highest hotel! We'll be back one day :)"

"At the beginning of our Savannahlander trip on the way to golf stopped; the bus driver showed all to the bakery. we drove to this cafe on the road, on the corner, looking for something more substantial for the breakfast, as we did. our hotel in cairns with my partner ordered speck eier, and then I have someone borrowing with their meal. I asked if I simply would have baked on toast; something you don't see in the menu today, but one of my favorites to the breakfast. nothing was too much annoyed for these loved ones. because we had limited time, they quickly stopped cooking our meals. this is a great little landcafé (table chairs inside) with basic yet healthy eating, nothing imaginative and the prices were very reasonable. the meals were also generous. in any case would go back."
