A true gem in a hole in the wall. I first heard of Grandstaff on open table and decided to give the restaurant a try. I LOVE this place. The food was excellent, our server, Ethan was attentive and professional and the atmosphere although dark was comfortable. So happy we found a true Richmond standout read more.

The restaurant and its premises are wheelchair accessible and thus usable with a wheelchair or physical disabilities, Depending on the weather conditions, you can also sit outside and be served.

What Reba Pfannerstill doesn't like about Grandstaff & Stein Book Sellers:
Promptly seated and water brought to the table. However no menus brought for about 15 minutes. Menu accessed through Open Table and on the restaurant‘s Facebook page were both different and not the same as the one given to us at the restaurant. While the food was good, it was cold so not sure if that was a cook or waiter issue. read more.

Came here for third year in a row to celebrate Valentine's Day. The food and drinks are always great. The ambience is perfect. The service is on point.

"Food was solid like always but there werent, enough straws for the emount of drinks, the coffees that all look the same but had different flavors werent marked or labeled in a way so we just had to guess people got the right flavor, multiple ordered sauces were missing and there was a singular napkin. "This is my second visit to this establishment. The first time, the food was actually pretty decent. It came within a timely manner and the food tasted okay. Today, I visited for the second time and it was a complete 180. The food was mediocre, they were out of condiments, and the wait time was outrageous. The staff seemed discombobulated and were all over the place. We went 20 minutes at a time without being seen by a waitress. The yams fries are good. But, today, we had hard substances in our yams which could not be explained by the staff. And no, it was not sugar. One of my friends that was with me did not like her fried chicken. When explained to the waitress, she didn?t seem to care, and asked ?can you describe what you didn?t like?. I?m not sure about y?all, but when I don?t like something..I just don?t like it lmao. I recommend the yams fries, I guess if you come at the right time?today was not the right time for us. Hit or miss place, I wish you all the best if you plan on attending this establishment."
