What Jennifer G doesn't like about Basil Thai Bistro:
I had food from here delivered. Preparing food and delivery time was supposed to be approximately 35 minutes. It took over an hour. I ordered:1. Red Curry w/shrimp 2. Sweet and sour W/pork and chicken.3. Beef salad4. Tom Kha soup w/shrimp. After delivery fees, taxes, tip, etc. I paid approximately $84This was a big disappointment. Both of our dishes were very under-spiced. My husband ordered the duck curry spice level 7, and I would say it was closer to a two by most Thai spice scales. I...

"The ladies at Rose Donuts will impress you with their delicious donuts and stellar customer service. I love this place. I had a temporary work gig in mission valley and during that time I would often stop by Rose's in the morning for some coffee and a raspberry donut. One of the ladies got to know me and once she saw me in line, she would start to grab what I wanted while I waited in line- raspberry donut, coffee and just the right amount of creamer. Every so often I would change it up and get something different. What was really nice was that they had such a wide variety of options beyond donuts. Their bagel choices were so delicious as well as their muffins. The donuts were great but what I really loved was the genuine sense of pride and friendliness. They always said Hi and had a friendly smile. I no longer work in the area but the next time Im down there I'll probably stop in. This is a true mom/pop type business. Those ladies are in there EARLY making fresh donuts and living the life. If you're going to support a local business this is a great shop that deserves your patronage."

"Bowls are pretty tasty and well served. Not too pricey. Fish is fresh and you can choose many ingredients to include within the bowl. I recommend the spicy tuna. WC was messy and the venue is just a place to grab a quick bite, not too comfy. Staff is friendly and service is super fast. Conveniently located in a small plaza."

"Tom yum was delicious, the Thai fried rice had a nice moist texture, but it was very bland. The chicken large was a bit sweet, and Pad see ew was also very sweet. The noodles may have been stir fry too long as it was broken in pieces."

"Food: I’m here for the vegan steamed buns and the vegan dumplings! Please please bring vegan soup dumplings to this location ??Atmosphere: Lovely atmosphere, lively but not too loud and excellent service, the staff are both super professional and very kind.Wait: We were estimated 45-60 minute wait, but got a text around 20 minutes later saying they might get us in early.
