"This restaurant is in a small stretch of restaurants which entice you to enter their portals.Probably mistakenly we were seduced by the price of the Special of the day but soon realised that this was far from a good value dining experience.The cost of the wine made your eyes water.There was some explanation made about the cost which was unconvincing so none of us decided to have any wine as a consequence.It put a dampener on our evening so we stuck to tap water (in mute protest) and we didn't go past the Main dishes.Shame really but as seasoned travellers we are to blame for not applying more forensic research before sitting down.The service was good but we have had far better experiences in Airlie Beach restaurants."

"Dropped in for a few cocktails, highly recommend the coconut and lime margarita. Ended up staying for dinner which was sensational. Highly recommend."

"I've been there on last monday and have taken part in the ladyboys contest after drinking like three jugs of whiskey ginger on my own (a real consumption!).It has really been lots of fun and we had an unforgettable night at down under. Just can recommend this bar!"

"Portion sizes were quite large, it had a nice atmosphere and we sat outside. Staff was friendly and accomodating, I really appreciate when employees need some time to carefully explain our diet options, so very appreciated. Good overall dining experience. Father in law...has Chilli Prawn Pizza mother in law had Marinara Risotto. We all enjoyed our meals. Vegan Option Info: Asparagus Mushroom Risotto could be made vegan (was a bit of Bland and not super creamy obvs do not cause butter, but I just added some salt and pepper and it was good). Vegetable spaghetti can be made vegan by not making cheese gluten-free pasta (all other pasta is made in the house with egg). My partner had this and really enjoyed it. 1 or 2 Vegetarian pizzas can be made vegan by subtracting the cheese (no vegan cheese available). I had a bite of my father in law crust and it was quite delicious pizza base. Would have liked to see a simple vegan cheese options."

"We had the grilled dory and chips and it was amazing! The best fish and chips I've had in Australia. It was worth the short wait. Recommended! They do not accept eftpos though, which is quite uncommon in 2017."
