"This is an out of the way place with a very unique character and excellent atypical Austrian cuisine. they also broke their own beer, which was good. eating was a unique absorption of Austrian food, cooked on an open fire with the old technology....You even have a load where they sell organic products they make. it was fantastic and a welcome change. the server was very nice, friendly and competent, and the prices were moderate. the portions were generous and the ingredients were fresh. in any case worth a trip. it is small, so reserve. jack from prag"

"We stopped here on our way up the waterfall walk, and were not disappointed. The cafe is set slightly above the town and has beautiful views over the town and valley. Having read previous reviews, we ordered the Heidelbeertopfenstrudel and Heidelbeermilch. It was perhaps the best Topfenstrudel we've ever had. Each piece was absolutely huge and could easily have fed 2 people, and it only cost 2,70€. The Heidelbeermilch was also great.The only disappointment was the radio playing Austrian 'pop' music out on the terrace, which kind of spoiled the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Will definitely visit again."
