"The saying don’t judge a book by its cover, is true for Trappers. We had trouble locating the restaurant within the motel, but once inside it was five star service from the staff. There are no real words to describe the food because mouth watering excellence doesn’t come close"

"Friendly staff, lovely food. Thank you for a lovely evening everyone at Hidden Secret!!! We enjoyed a beautiful entree of oysters kilpatrick and a main of porterhouse steak, the chips on the side were a gem, I loved them."

"Really enjoyed the food, great meals, steak not cooked perfectly (my partner asked for rare I asked for medium and they were the other way around, but not the end of the world) and great large servings. Food was quite expensive but service was good and overall a great night."

"Don't be fooled by all those photos, that's what we looked at and was like yep let's go there. But when we got there the place was dead, you could hear the chefs and staff all in the back yelling talking. My partners food the seafood tasted like it was had been sitting in the freezer for years and the deep fryer oil was still dripping off the gross calamari that was served. The chips came out warm and not crispy. And then my salmon was only cooked on top but all inside was cold and uncooked and the skin was not crispy and watery.I told the chef and he was lovely enough to cook me another one. However when the next one came out it had no seasoning on it and was agin watery but tasted like he finished it in the microwave. And by that time I'd already finished my salad and chips were too cold to eat. The staff were lovely. But was just so disappointed by food. Wasted a good night there."

"I went to the Catalina Club today with friends and got my usual lunch when at the coast, a Seafood Basket. l was shocked! This was the Best Seafood Basket in years. All perfectly cooked fresh and tasty and a full size serve. I went...and told the staff to send my complements to the chef, something I have also not done for years. they asked me to do this review. My only one ever..."

"Very nice club. It’s going to be gorgeous when the renovations are complete. It’s always a gamble when going to eat at a club. The food here is sensational. We had pork ribs (so tender it fell off the bones , pork cutlet (divine! chicken schnitzel and beef burger for the tin lids. Love love LOVED it. Definitely coming back when we are in the area. Thank you for great service and great food!"
