"For Brisbane to have a Filo restaurant this quality it 's better than the 'fine dining ' restaurant on southbank can 't wait to try more. Be warned that due to popularity and the rare number of filipino restaurants in Brisbane it does get busy but don 't let that discourage you from going"

"I recently dined to best friends “Kainan sa Valley” to see if there are improvements from my last visit. after eating at other Filipino foods in qld cairns, browns plains, gold coast, redcliffe) I find eating in kainan poor or cut. disturbances are hit or miss with other reviewers). the prices have risen since my last visit $8 for 1-dish, $10 for 2-dish) but used the same small plate, so I don't think I get a worth for my extra dollar. their services are not generous, very measured and lean more on “less”. if they want taste resistance and worth money, I would learn to cook these dishes themselves. it is not difficult to use many free resources on the web...read more"
