"This place opened up some time in 2012 without fanfare and proceeded to surprise us. The food is delicious and my husband, who loves authentic cooking, loves eating here. There is nothing pretentious here. You aren't paying $8 for a lunchtime meal to get silver service. What you do get is a delicious dish, not too much or too little, well presented and authenticate. It's open for ouch and dinner, and the decor is utilitarian and a bit crowded, but don't let that put you off eating here. Your taste buds will live you for it. They have a loyalty card. We eat here for lunch a lot....it's cheap, tasty, authenticate Thai food that you won't regret trying. Would I come here for a romantic dinner? No."

"If you're looking for tasty, value for money, authentic Thai soup, you can't go past Asia Unique. The portions are really generous and the ingredients are top quality. If you're a meat eater, you cant go past the boat noodle soup Ive been going there a few times a week and the standard has been too notch every single time. They also have happy hour all day, with a beer costing only 5 bucks...an absolute bargain! You won't be disappointed, get the soup."

"We went early to dinner here. It was not busy, and we took the opportunity to converse with the staff. They actually wrote down our names, and our preferences, for future orders they will know how to customise our orders! Imagine that!The food was excellent. I had the jungle curry - for some reason any curry with no coconut milk is difficult to find, but this restaurant had two types of coconut milk free curry! It was grand - spicy, light, filling, just about perfect. My partner had a whole steamed fish, done just as she likes it.Prices are quite reasonable (almost too good). Service is a little slow, but because it was extremely friendly we did not care.Definitely worth visiting. And get to know the staff."

"This is definitely one of the better quality Thai restaurant in CBD. They can get a little busy at lunchtimes, so avoid midday if your in a hurry. Food is tasty authentic with one exception. Slightly too sweet but it’s not a major issue. I’ve regularly had all the common dishes with work friends and everyone has always been satisfied. Recommend this place to anyone that likes Asian food."
