"Ordered pancakes without the oreos, but bananas have not been available for the last week, (as told by young girl). Friend ordered flat grilled roasted vegetable and feta pita bread. Absolutely dreadful, nothing like the menu photo and flat alright, was flatter than my pancake....This is what happens when management do not train staff properly and expect gastronomic expertise from young people. Staff offered bowl of mixed berries only after requesting something to put on my pancakes, and staff replied, oh well. there have been no bananas for a week. Friend stated, you should have let us know when we paid for our order at the counter. Will not return to coffee club"

"Such a lovely spot. After not being here for quite some time, it was such a surprise to be greeted by the owner using my first name and embarrassing for me I had forgotten her name. Sorry. 3 of us ordered coffees and breakfast. The size of the servings was fantastic and the coffees delicious. Being a local I often eat out at various cafes and prices are getting a bit out of reach. Not at the Coffee Bean, great value for money and it was such a pleasure having our breakfast here. Definitely recommend to locals and visitors alike."

"Absolutely love this place!! I tried and loved both the cold noodles (plain and seaweed). My husband ordered the beef stew udon twice and that’s his favourite. Udon was very chewy, menu was very flexible (you can order as much/little as you want with great variety) and the staff were super friendly too. Highly recommend!"

"Cold coffee.....dreadful attitude when asked to re- heat this drink. Filthy tea cup along with a broken teapot and refusal to provide a little extra hot water to lessen the strength of the too strong tea . Will never patronize this cafe again......and neither will many of our friends."

"It has that big chain feel to it - not very personalised service. Only went here because we had an Entertainment book discount, making it a cheaper option for breakfast. Still, not complaining but the independent restaurants really excel with their service."
