"I was visiting Calgary with three girlfriends, one a recent transplant. We were exploring the neighborhood and discovered Janice Beaton Fine Cheese (JBFC) Shoppe after having lunch at Farm. We purchased a couple of cheeses for Wine Time and they were yummy. Several days later we needed a quick lunch and I suggested going back to JBFC for grilled cheese sandwiches. They were absolutely amazing! Our local girlfriend is going back for the Mac and Cheese takeout. JBFC was such a find!"

"Menu advertises chicken and waffles after 11am and we were told they don’t offer them during the day. Then we see a chalk board saying the chicken and waffles are sold out. Food was great. Music was loud enough that it was hard to communicate with the staff taking our order. Glad we went, but probably won’t be back soon."

"Reminds me of Eastern Europe. Slightly shabby on the outside, and scuffy on the inside, 'Ukrainian Fine Food Restaurant ' (located in the SE near 42nd Ave and Blackfoot) has some very traditionally prepared Ukrainian dishes.<br/ <br/ The sausage and perogies (what I had) are quite good and not very expense.<br/ <br/ Fairly good place to drop by for take out for lunch, if you happen to be in the area."

"It's not fancy place, but food is surprisingly good. We had combo; cabbage rolls, sausage and pierogies. Not sure, pierogies were homemade but we really enjoyed it. Next time I'm going to try borsch!"

"Awesome food the Tabbouli Salad is fresh and made proper, the Large Mixed Donair Wrap (Chicken and Beef) was on point, the Beef Donair Poutine was also satisfying good cheese curds. Would highly recommend eating here worth the money."
