"Simply amazing. The food was delicious, the service was great and the location was perfect. We've shared two starters and a main dish squid in onion sauce, limpets and the fish with banana. Finished with the maraquia desert. If you're thinking about a wine to pair your food with, the Esporao white will be a top choice. Thank me later."

"Out of 11 days in Madeira we must have eaten here 7 8 times! The dishes were beautifully cooked and presented. Black scabbard and banana was a favourite. Bruno, the owner, is a fabulous host and the waiting on staff were all brilliant. We are looking to go back for New Year. Fully recommend Real Canoa. Different entertainers each night. Got all the diners in the holiday mood. Every day I asked for Mixed Berry Cheesecake. I got it on our last night delicious!! Well worth the wait!!"
