"Our young server had no knowledge of the wine selection and actually brought 3 cheap glasses when we had actually ordered a bottle. Our pastas and starters were fine, but Crown sauces tend to be on the sweet side. We prefer savory sauce. The pizza was below average. I suspect it was a frozen store bought crust. There are too many great Italian restaurants in the city to return."

"This is a true Cincinnati landmark. The food is always delicious, the quaint ambience is a delight and the service is top notch. I have been coming here for over 40 years and while the family descendants now run the restaurant it has the same charm that it did when 'Mama ' would scold you for not eating all your food. The mostaccioli ala tuscanini and the cataloni lombardi are my two favorite main courses. They are delicious. Tiramisu for dinner capped off a delightful experience."

"Reserved a few weeks before the marathon. When I came here, they didn't have the reservation and upset. Bad service. Food o.k. Very pasty sauce. Surprise is best seen in the city."

"My wife and I have been several times. It has been 4 years since we've been there. William was our server and was great. We have never been disappointed. The lobster bisque, is the best we have had. The eggplant/shrimp appetizer was a first for us, and we could not get enough"

"Terrible service. I loved the food, but a gentleman working there was incredibly rude about a refill on a drink. His coworker told me I could get a free refill and he came out from the back yelling at me in front of my boss as I refilled it. I apologized and he continued on and on about it to the point that my boss no longer wants to return. Until this point we'd spent hundreds of dollars here, but no pasta/drink is worth getting yelled at by a guy clearly having a bad day."

"Actually, this place was a sleeper. the true gems are the spezialpizzen they create. they have made dinners of the most unique and tasty pizza flavor I have ever experienced with ingredients like brusselsprossen or taco inspired toppings. also the standard pizza are excellent. best selection for cinci pizza."

"SO DISAPPOINTED. The pizza was extremely oily, very thin and the peaches on the spicy peach pizza were flimsy and tasteless. Furthermore, what displeased us the most was the unprofessional and apparently immature sous chef. We created an Instagram post for the pizza and about three inches of the chef's forehead was in one of the photos. It was indistinguishable whether the person in the photo was even male or female. She proceeded to harass our page via many story posts even after removing the photo and attempting to resolve the issue privately via direct contact which she did not answer. The other reviews, the adolescent sous chef, and the terrible pizza will most likely shut this place down. Don't waste your time."
