"Is it a pottery or an animal? I think my cat wouldn't eat that! Maxi burger, the meat is gross, and we have more bread than anything else. The fries not terrible either, too fat and not cooked enough. Much too expensive for frozen. The only good thing was the water bottle. Staff not very reactive, and impolite. Go your way."

"Went in with a group of Aussie students. Knew from before this was a place for a quick snack and always welcome. Surprised to find a very unfriendly sneaky waiter and no quick snack menu. Students +25! left and were called back by me not knowing what was ongoing. The quick snack menu had not been shown by the waiter trying to sell more expensive menus. Shame on him! After some communication with the innkeeper about the misunderstanding at last the quick snack menus were shown They are not at the tables, you have to ask for!?? . Food was OK but the waiter, unprofessional, unfriendly but he was towards the French guests ! not communicating at all and the innkeeper let happen. This waiter is doing the restaurant more harm then profit. Or the innkeeper doesn't want groups ? , although before I was always well received. At the end, when the students and professors were out, innkeeper tried to talk him out to make things good as if he and his lady of the house had at last understood that something unprofessional had been going on under their own eyes. They seem to be more friendly and attentive to clients. Restaurant is at walking distance from the Wellington Quarries . As a professional guide, me and the driver, were surprised to see such a bad reception of the Aussies in France! Where I had advised the group to join in at this restaurant, to have a French quality quick snack, the waiter spoiled the whole atmosphere by bad communication and not showing the students from the start the snack menu. BE AWARE, THERE IS A HIDDEN MENU ASK FOR IT IF NOT YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE PAY FOR A MORE EXPENSIVE MENU."

"A basic restaurant with a lot of faces. Each room in the restaurant has a diiferent style and feeling. The food is basic but good. And the prices are small. So a good price/perfomance. The wine list contains some unknown wines. The wine we selected, a coteaux Giennois, was very good. A point of improvement are the chairs. Lounge chairs are too low for a comfortable sit during dinner."
