"Have been going here since it opened - it is my daughter's favourite place and we always order a platter for special family events. It used to be owned by Japanese but changed hands a few years ago and the new owners have maintained the standards. It is a little more expensive than other places, but worth it. There is a good variety of sushi, sashimi and salads, very fresh, well presented and generous in size. Service is courteous but not overly friendly. It is certainly one of the best sushi places in Manningham and possibly wider."

"Sunday morning and no food sitting there ready for me to takeaway, but even better, they made whatever I wanted fresh in 5 10min. I chose the Delux Pack for $12 and it was delicious! "Sakura is my go to sushi restaurant. Everything, including the sushi is made fresh to order. Definitely the freshest and best tasting sushi I have had! Also I really love their dumplings, BBQ pork buns and Crispy chicken!"

"Staff here are extremely rude. I just dont understand how staff at a place of business can be so rude towards customers who basically keep them in business. I was a regular at this place, because they do make awesome fresh sushi.. But after awhile I stopped purely based on their staffs attitude.. Rude! Rude! Rude!"

"Not sure about changing owner story but my partner and I was looking for a takeaway sushi. In suburb area it's not easy to find one on a sat night and we managed to find one here thanks to zomato. Ordered takeaway with spicy california and nigiri box and all taste fresh. Not disappointed."
