"Perhaps the best place for a beer in the city. great outsight! but: eating was really bad quality. oily escalope, poor taste, salad not freshly prepared, chemical taste for the fries and the sausages. please change that."

"On the north side of the Münster. Today there is the café with restaurant “Sam’s” on 2 floors, in the Kornhaus are shops, e.g. fashion, above the French Centre Culturel Freiburg with library, changing exhibitions and educational offers (e.g. language courses). The history of the Kornhaus is alternating: In the 15th century it was the Zunfthaus der Krämer, where Philipp der Schöne was received in 1496, the new building was not completed as planned in 1498 to the Reichstag. The Kornhaus was also a dance house, a slaughterhouse, even from the 18th. Century to the 19th century the 1st municipal theatre (common house). 1944 destroyed, rebuilt in 1970 with new Gibel. My photos show views from Sams to Münster on cloudy 17.11.19."

"Die Jungs vom Cafe Marcel machen einen wirklich guten Job und vor allem einen sehr guten Kaffee. Im Sommer kann man wunderschön den Stadtgarten genießen, draußen sitzen und einen sehr guten Kaffee trinken. Im Sommer ist das Cafe Marcel neben dem Kolbencafe definitiv mein Lieblingscafe.Einziger Wermutstropfen: Es gibt nur wenig Sitzplätze draußen."

"It was a pretty big drank for 2 people. the food is all delicious and especially the blackshaxen was the best! it was a satisfying meal that brought me to go back to this place. it was a football matchday, and everyone was so excited that it felt like I was also a participant on the game. one of the excited customers broke the glass, but all the workers were very friendly and seemed to encourage them by removing the broken glass. I want to go again! best meal!"
