"It was a quiet night, we came down from Melbourne, the food is Croatian Australian, I had the Parma ($22) and disappointed (I am the parma queen) It was a big lump of chicken, cooked nicely on the outer, but I swear there were some pink bits and I stopped eating, the Cro -slaw (cringe) is Croatian coleslaw- dressing is vinegar and oil, there was no vinegar, no seasoning. There was a small bowl of capsicum - its like a thick relish, brother in law loved it. My meal came with chips , the girl leaned a bit to far over and half the chips slid into my lap.... yep.....Mother had fish and chips ($21) and loved it- to me it had that horrid fishy smell. Sister and her husband had steaks and thoroughly enjoyed it. (approx. $32) The waitresses are young, just need a bit of experience, staff are polite, place is very clean, my family were quite happy, we will go back, my review is about chips landing in my lap......"

"Went for a lunch on Saturday. The reservation outside was ready and waiting, the staff were friendly and prompt. The meals arrived in a timely manner. The calamari was lovely as was the saganaki. That said, the chicken souvlaki was very disappointing. Only two very small slices of chicken with a meagre salad wrapped in bread was presented. In my opinion the souvlaki was underwhelming and it did not represent value for money. I expected more from a Greek restaurant. I'm sure other dishes would have been better."

"We dined at Tulip last night and were blown away not only by the food, but by the experience and accommodation of the staff. The venue is situated on a gorgeous laneway, and the restaurant is intimate, clean yet quiet and noise does not echo. We were greeted with the drink menu which has an impressive variety of cocktails, wines and beers. I appreciate the option of being able to order a 'half glass ' of wine too useful when you can 't decide like me! The chef came over with a complimentary tomato and burnt chive oil drink which was a lovely way to start the meal and the flavours were incredibly fresh, unique and moreish I would come back for this alone! We had the set menu and had a gluten free member on the table the kitchen was amazingly compromising for this and provided gluten free options for everything. We also opted to not have the lamb on the menu and they were happy to replace it with another main dish. We were served bread, a buckwheat cracker, olives and butter as well as tomatoes and ricotta as entrees so fresh! A dish of snapper, nasturtium and peas followed which was the best dish I have ever eaten at a restaurant. Mains consisted of a roast chicken with hazelnuts and a rich gravy with a side of potatoes and rosmary butter and a bitter leaf salad. We never order dessert out but were so impressed we had to give it a try and it didn 't disappoint! A chocolate caramel fudge with puffed barley and a malted milk ice cream, a taste bud tantalising adventure that left us all wanting more. In addition, the staff wished me a happy birthday which was very special. I will definitely be coming back here in the future. Thanks for the wonderful experience Tulip! "Okay, I'll start by trying to revolt possible erase, it was mother's day and busy. Let's start with good. the staff was friendly and cheerful. It's not that good now. 45 minutes waiting for the order of food is too long. not all 6 orders came together, which meant that some were done when others arrived. the food quality was below 2 x. more"
