"So usually any meal you get here is better than the average pub meal BUT had to send the fish back as the batter was not crunchy had a weird consistancy for 'batter ' possibly the oil was not hot enough. The ribs came out...stone cold in the middle. Second time round, the fish was the same and the ribs were so dry and chewy they were unedible. Shape up guys this was really really bad for your usual good meals. The servers knew what was going on too as yes i complained but there was no end result to that before anyone asks did you tell them"

"Decided to test out Rocksalt for a brekky and dinner and had mixed results.Brekky was generous portions for eggs & toast, coffee was actually quite smooth and well prepared, would go back again for a coffee. Prices are a little more on the pricey side. Service was good, not exceptional always room to improve though. Dinner was disappointing. The salt & pepper calamari entree was quite tasty, well cooked and aioli had good flavour. Then the main came. Pork Belly. Was the worst pork Belly I've ever eaten. The veggies were done well, but the pork had good flavour bit fatty and not much meat. The crackling was like cardboard. No flavour whatsoever. And had no salt at the table to season. The service was some of the worst I've experienced. It was booked out-busy and to stand and wait for minutes on end to be seen by staff but not even acknowledged was disgraceful. Prices for meals are more so expensive than budget. Personally didn't feel this place provides good value for money overall."
