"From the moment we entered the establishment the service was impeccable, extremely friendly waitstaff all round and made us feel very welcomed. However, initially the food was a completely different story. In general everything was very underwhelming. Even before our food arrived we were encountering problems, The syrup needed changed on the coke; ended up with a glass full of soda water after paying extra for the sugar tax, parts of our order were no longer available and were told it would be a 20 minute wait on the food. At first this wasn’t an issue especially as the staff catered to our needs incredibly well and even offered free starters while we waited. After our 30+ minute wait the food was disappointing to say the least. Cold and lumpy mash, veiny low quality chicken thighs, cold chips and a grilled pineapple that showed no signed of grilling. However after expressing our disappointment with the manager Scott Mooney he went completely above and beyond to sort out all of our issues completely free of charge. He was an absolutely amazing help and provided us with a whole new replacement meal. So instead of going home hungry, unsatisfied and feeling like we wasted money we were now full, extremely pleased with the quality of our food and happy to have come. Had we left after the first round of food we definitely would not have been back to Nando’s for a long time if at all but the amendments definitely made us change our minds and will be happy to be back soon. Well done to Scott for making our time there worth while and completely worth the money. Again amazing job with the service!"

"Winner winner Chicken Dinner! Feels great heading to city centre, when normal life slowly resumes back, you can’t miss Pepe’s under new management, it is surprisingly better than ever in hear of city centre. Very helpful staffs and order was quick too. The chicken is rather succulent, I would recommend anyone that knows about their chicken To pay a visit to this establishment. The chicken is fabulous I personally would recommend the wings and half chicken with hot sauce. Kids enjoyed their meals, to Overall the food is amazing we had a great dinner off late. Highly recommend and continue to visit again."

"We traveled out to Hamden earlier than planned. Originally had planned a meal in city centre before heading out but we were advised to travel early and get something there. We came across this gem with a empty table in the late afternoon sun. We wanted to order some pasta from the menu but due to the crowds they had sold out of almost everything. We ordered the sandwiches- we both really enjoyed them! So fresh and delicious. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. We will def come back next time in the area. Thank you."
