"Went mid-week as working in the area. It is quiet in the restaurant, but has steady flow of takeaways also coming through so took it to be very popular. It is BYO, so handy that a good bottle shop is just across the road! Was greeted by very hospitable and polite young man, and shown to table. Menu is very extensive (pages and pages!) I ordered my normal Lamb Jalfrezi, as always do the first time in a new restaurant, with the usual collection of bread, rice and side dish!Popadoms and dip delivered, and as I was travelling alone, it was nice that the staff took time to talk about the food and city, and even a bit about themselves.Food was delicious, hot (as in temp), flavoursome and there was a lot of meat. Spiciness was as I had asked (medium in Indian terms, hot in English terms :-) ).I will definitely return, just so I can try some of their specials, even the vegetarian options looked fantastic! Only thing I would ask is to change from a popadum dip to tray of dips & pickles. I asked for Lime Pickle, which arrived with my main course, it was very tasty but best with popadums.Thank you for making me feel so welcome and the wonderful food."

"This place, close to the Dandenong Railway Station, has been our takeaway hub for nearly 15 years. Having only recently had a sit-down meal, what lacked in ambiance was hugely compensated by the quality, quantity, and sufficiency of foor. Service was happy, helpful and quick."
