"This was our first visit to the garden center and the teeroom. the staff is lovely and friendly. I can highly recommend the local cheeses that are huge and served with a lot of cream cheese and a jam cahutney. if I had a tiny moan, it would be that I was a bit high for a latte at £2.75, but otherwise everything was fab and we will define again. the garden center has beautiful healthy plants and flowers. very impressed."

"Popped in for Brunch and the staff were all friendly and very helpful. Food was delicious and decor was cosy. Fab range of beers and ciders on tap I must return at a later time in the day to give some of them a try!"

"I ordered salmon they didn’t have any so I made a snap decision to have fish cakes because they supposedly were salmon ones but you had to look hard to find the small pieces of salmon in them. So I had a jacket potato mostly mashed potato in the fish cakes which to my mind were over cooked with a small pot of peas, not what I would call a very appetising lunch."

"Went to Pizza Express Harpenden tonight and the service and attitude of the waitress was terrible. Ordered a Fiorentina (v). Took ages to arrive, everyone else had almost eaten their pizza. When it did it was covered in parmesan. I pointed out that wasn't vegetarian. I was then lectured that was how it came and if I'd wanted a vegetarian pizza I should have said. And that mozzarella wasn't vegetarian either. I had a baby in my lap so didn't argue or ask to see the menu again. Wish I had as the waitress was talking utter rubbish. Both taps in ladies toilet also broken so no hand washing in there. Pretty gross for a restaurant."
