"I am a regular wednesday night go-er for over a year now... i absolutely love the pho. has great taste. good portion. sometimes i feel like they skip out on noodles tho....love the spring rolls and the egg rolls. always great service! sad they took away happy hour!"

"Absolutely phenomenal! I had the chicken pho, the chicken was super yummy, the noodles were perfect, and the broth was the best I’ve ever had. The broth was a little more on the gingery side, but was not over powering at all! We had the spring rolls to start, the peanut sauce was delicious, but not sure what the rubber texture was in with the lettuce, shrimp and carrots."

"A great gem that serves authentic Vietnamese food. Service is friendly and quick. Food arrives quickly and very tasty. The egg rolls are crispy and stuffed with filling. The pho broth is hearty and not overly spiced. The bowls are huge and good for sharing. I love their iced coffee, gives the right amount of energy to eat your way through the city. They take credit cards and great place to go with friends."

"I get the cost of food has gone up, but the price to portion of Phó was not in line. Went there with a friend and got one small plate of bean sprouts and garnishes to share. There was barely any meat in the broth, which didn't have much flavor to it (I had to add a ton of hoison). I waited to write a review before I visited one of my favorite spots in Washington State to compare portions, price, and flavor. Wasn't even close at Nguyen Pho. The atmosphere is nice being near the City Market, and the restraunt is nice, but the food didn't hit like it should. Still on the search for good Phó in KC."

"We were hungry and wanted to order two shrimp Lo main, but the nice and fun lady kindly suggested that one big portion is enough for two and boy she was right. I wish I took a photo of that plate. Not only it was huge, but also very tasty with a lot of shrimp and nicely cooked broccoli. The place is only for to go food, in fact I want some now... Next time in Kansas City, I'll be there."

"You can throw it down. That's why they've been there forever. The menu is versatile and cooked with love. For example, their crabs are Rangoons better than most Chinese places. As a south-eastern kitchen you would expect everything to drip with fish sauce. It's in there, but not in there, but the prices? And to supplement insult that told me after ive that you are forced to add 15% of the Gratity to 1 man, and he is three children who eat some like spent 60 dollars and barely? Too bad things. We were the only ones in there. And it took an hour and 45 minutes to fully serve us. Warm water, no cream for coffee? A tip goes with good service is not a hidden fee. I understand why the only ones were there."
