"Delicious documenta prix fixe especially for 48 euro, although the 7 euro filtered water charge was rude. vegetarian dishes, creative and overwhelming amount of food. after two and a half hours, I was still on dessert."

"For the art crowd: I arrived in Kassel from Münster, and basically stumbled upon this international small plates restaurant close to my hotel in a lovely residential neighborhood. The food is fantastic, really special, made with skill and love. Sepia (cuttlefish) was a top hit,...and the shrimp, and the steak, and the several vegetable dishes. And the bread with aioli. Two nights later I returned with am Australian museum curator friend and an art consultant. Like me, they swooned and were thrilled. This is a tremendous restaurant for Documenta, which is just a few tram stops away, a perfect place to meet friends and colleagues during the exhibition. Highly, highly recommend!"

"The location of the restaurant is next to the Parthenon of books in Kassel. It is at the center of Kassel. I visited it late at for having a drink. It has a big variety of German beers. The service is good."

"The foods in the card are chosen great and there is something for everyone! although a lot was going on and the service announced to us before ordering a waiting period of 1 hour the food came after about 30 min. every time again!"

"I visited Kassel for documenta and frequented the cafe here several times. Mieke and Lukas are such super lovely people and it was a pleasure getting to know them. The food there is really delicious and the cocktails and drinks are great! Would deifintely recommend...a trip for relaxation, dining and an evening cocktail. They often also have specials such as terrasse grilling (if you catch one of the burgers there, they are A+! Will for sure visit again, miss it already!"
