"This place has the reputation of stocking those old fashioned favourites like jam tarts and chelsea buns. Yesterday I discovered that they also have french pudding, which I think of nostalgically and I found theirs to be lovely - heavy, somewhat gooey, full of different flavours. Maybe it's not what everyone likes and they certainly have lots of other options, but for me this was heaven on a cool day."

"The dining experience at Darley's was superb. You felt very welcome as soon as you walked through the door, and Pablo, the maitre de, was amazing. The quality of the food was excellent with only the best produce used. The menu was innovative and blended some unusual combinations, and suited those who have a leaning towards gourmet cuisine. The ambience of the dining space was sumptuous, with heritage features completing the experience of dining in a beautiful historic homestead."

"Such a lovely venue to personalise your party / event.A farm setting just outside Katoomba township.A husband & wife team offering a unique experience by opening their home.Providing a set menu with choices, it was really hard to choose from such a wonderful selection.The service was excellent and a few personal touches made the whole experience so much nicer.Most of the food comes from their lovely garden.It is BYO and they do not charge corkage!Take the train from Sydney if you wish, then a taxi to the address just 2.5 km away.......or just drive up to the front gate.We are already planning our return...........loved it!"
