"Not the best food if I’m honest could be so much better. I got chicken in a basket which was huge a pile of chips with 3 chicken strips on the top very average, my friend steak was well done when he asked for medium rare, and my girlfriends chicken burger was greasy. One thing I will say is all the serving staff where very helpful and friendly. The menu hasn’t changed much since the last time I went in a few years ago And they ran out of spiced rum on a Saturday evening. Management need a shake up with better organisation on stock and some new ideas."

"The closest you'll get to a fine-dining experience in this area. Expect fresh local ingredients and beer that is brewed in the region. Cozy atmosphere, but not stuffy, and bonus: formal attire is not required. Since the restaurant is along a canal walking trail, diners wore a range from hiking shoes to high-heels. This dinner was a standout dining experience on our trip to Lancashire."
