"I've come to Countystyle kitchens since it was opened. we had also come together a lot of family when we were able to book a table that always had a friendly staff. never was disappointed with everything I had from the menu and the desserts should die! best carvery in this opposite to the food price. great time every time I go!"

"We had a lovely day at The White Cross. Three of us had fish and chips. The batter was delicious and crispy and the fish was perfect and fresh. I had the Thai Penang prawn curry which was also divine. The service was efficient and very friendly and sitting by the canal was restful and relaxing. A perfect spot."

"I have bad experiences with English Italian restaurants. but to be fair, eating is not as bad as I expected. Why did I expect that? Because the menu needs a complete makeover, because it is not optically attractive, the place looks a bit boring and intrusting. However, the plot came when tasting and looking for food. I ordered a goat cheese, spinach, mushrooms and rocket pizza with extra sun-dried tomatoes. the crust was crispy enough to please her palate. the taste was excellent. I also tried caneloni verdi, which is filled with bark meat, spinach and grated cheese. this meal was ok, but it was lacking seasoning. something lacked in the red sose, basilikum, perhaps? drinks are worth as they were not expensive, but with sufficient quantity. what do I mean? I ordered a gin and tonic and it had a good amount of spirit and tonic water that it did not taste watered down. photos are not available, as I had a good time with friends and because the place was not really lacking light. the place has a good balance between food quality and price. the personal cares constantly for the customer who is an extra."

"Popped in on a busy Friday night unplanned with my son. Older server was absolutely awesome and fitted us both in, even though it was rammed. Service, food, waiting on staff and atmosphere was top drawer! Spot on, will visit again. Even my teenage son is still racing about it!"
