"Traditionelle Dorfbeiz: Stammtisch, Pokalvitrinen, urchige Stammgäste etc., aber sehr freundliche Bedienung und Essen, das mit kulinarischem Geschick und mit frischen Zutaten gekocht wird. Uns mundeten vor allem die hausgemachten Kürbisravioli: Diese grossen, runden Teigtaschen waren gefüllt mit Pilzen, Lauch und Kräutern und perfekt gekocht. Wir bestellten die kleinere Portion als Vorspeise und bedauerten nach dem ersten Biss, dass wir nicht die grössere Portion als Hauptgang bestellt hatten. Die Wildgerichte waren ausgezeichnet: Der Rehpfeffer (mit knusprigen Croutons und Pilzen) fein gewürzt und die hausgemachten Spätzli sowie die Beilagen (Rotkohl, Rosenkohl, glasierte Marroni, gefüllte Birne) bissfest und doch perfekt durchgekocht. Zum Dessert nahmen wir ein Cafe Surprise: Man bekommt einen Kaffee sowie einen Schnaps nach Wunsch und dazu 3 Miniportionen von den Desserts - sehr schön angerichtet und perfekt für den kleinen Dessertgluscht. Fazit: Lassen Sie sich nicht vom etwas altmodischen Ambiente abschrecken, sondern geniessen Sie das tolle Essen und die freundliche Bedienung."

"Прекрасное, недорогое заведение. Персонал вежливый, но количество его небольшое. Если в заведении много народу, то не удивляйтесь, если на вас будут обращать внимание не очень часто. Порцион очень большой. Об этом предупреждают. Из нас, четырёх здоровых мужиков никто не смог осилить салат и основное блюдо. Так что выбирайте или/или. Цены приемлемые. О размерах порций предупреждают (мы предупреждениям не поверили, зато проверили на себе). Очень вкусное пиво в большом ассортименте."

"I have eaten at "LaLaCarte" (as my children call it) so many times over the past 15 years that I could not even count. 100? 200, even?As I just wrote in another review, sometimes the finest gems are right on one's doorstep. Of all those meals, there were maybe 2 that were below average. That is a track record that few restaurants on the planet can boast even when they never change the menu. The menu at à la cArte changes daily. Creativity and consistency are all too often mutually exclusive. Not here. I always look forward to a meal at à la cArte. Why? a) the soup.b) the friendly, open vibe complete with attractive waitresses who always seem to have the right combination of competence and flirtatiousness. c) the open ambience. The design is excellent. d) the food. Always good. Always healthy. More about the soup... I have all but given up cooking soup at home. My children always compare it to LaLaCarte's and I always place second. Very humbling. I recommend à la cArte to all visitors to Langenthal. To all the travellers staying at the Bären: a change of scenery is just 30 seconds away. Out the front door, a quick right, then a quick left, and you're there."
