"Better then average buffet. they have a very large selection of food and do most of it quite well. I have to eat something that is not better prepared in other restaurants in utah, but not all at the same place. the price is average for a large buffet. if they want a good steak, there are some better choices in layton."

"I ordered two black garlic pork ramen and a kids ramen but it absolutely looked like I got 3 miso ramen bowls. Black garlic ramen did not look anything like the pics advertise. I took the broth back to the store because I thought they made a mistake but the employees told me all their broth is the same and that the black garlic oil was in the ramen bowls. I gave them chance and went back home to try it. There was no black garlic at all, look at the attached pics of what I gotversus what the website advertises. The pork is just crockpot pulled pork and both the black garlic bowls had super burnt pieces in them. Highly unappetizing. I regret even trying it out. I don?t recommend at all."

"I feel bad leaving 3 stars, but there was not a single item that was satisfying in this giant order. The Spider roll is a soft shell crab roll. The crab was very fishy and unpleasant. This is not how good soft shell crab should taste in sushi. The sauce it was on was also not complimenting anything well. The Playboy and Crispy rolls were both suffering from a lack of freshness in the quality of the fish. The ratios of sauce and other toppings on these rolls created a flavor combination that just did not work well. Texture was also off the mark by a lot. The batter used in the Karaage chicken appetizer was very salty. The sauce the chicken came with was also unpleasant. The calamari appetizer was average. The shoyu ramen was the biggest let down. The broth had a slightly sweet, but very bland flavor. Nobody in my party liked any of the food, including myself. Unfortunate. I will say that the presentation on the sushi was decent. It looked fine. I also enjoyed my brief interaction with the staff. Very nice people. Overall, it is safe to say I will not be coming back to this restaurant for sushi or ramen or appetizers, but maybe there are other things on the menu that are better."
