"The lunch time menu is great value for money. The steak sandwich and beer deal is by far the best value lunch in Lismore the kitchen waitress is super friendly and her service is very quick and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for an easy quick value lunch"

"Lovely vibe to this local hotel. Decor is old world but fresh. Go look for the 2017 flood level sign near the bar and be surprised! Food was as advertised- pub food done well. Great service, goods ambiance, prices are reasonable. I’ll do a General McCarthy...I will return."

"I seriously couldn't fault MaryGs their premises were clean and the service, manners and food were great. The meals were very generous sizing (the only downside is it means we ate way too much because it was great we couldn't stop) Food was served in...perfect time, it was hot and served with a smile, We will definitely come back for another meal next time we come to lismore. Thanks MaryGs!!"

"To be frank, I'm not a fan of the place. I appreciate it is a nice night out for a lot of local people, but I find the place garish and the food quite ordinary. Lismore has many more places that are truly special. Yes,...the service is good and yes they aim to please, but this is, at best, just utilitarian eating. You've got to eat, and if nothing else was open, this would be the place to come."

"Took a group of for early dinner on Saturday evening. The steaks we ordered were not cooked to order and two of the schnitzel were over cooked. 4 of the guests were under 15 and although it was quite early there were some extremely intoxicated people at the back bar who frightened the kids when they went back to use the facilities. Granted, it's a pub... but it was pretty early in the evening. All in all an average experience."
