"Such a good feed! Seriously beautiful, the batter is nice and light and they actually leave the roe on the scallops. Everything cooked just right! Twice now we have got a huge feed for a great price from these guys and both times smashed it. I'm pretty fussy being a chef and kiwi, since working and travelling in that field I've only found three places Australia wide to recommend and these guys are one of them! Well done all and Thanks!"

"Ordered the pork belly which arrived with broccolini and mashed pumpkin. The meal was wonderful and the crackly pork belly fell apart as it should. My MAIN gripe about this place, having eaten here before, is that they refuse to provide any sort of takeaway container for left overs. I understand some tavern owners may not want to take the health risk, but it costs virtually nothing to provide a takeaway container with a sticker stating “no responsibilty for food hygiene if food taken away”. Every other venue I visit does this, except this one, and it is why I hardy ever eat here. I have rated based on the quality of food and will not hold this against them."

"We've been driving past this place for years and out of a far away wondered how they stayed in business. at last to my birthday, I too, why not try. we checked the reviews on facebook and it sounded good, so we gave it a try. well, I can just say what a wonderful experience, great eating, great personal and a relaxed free time environment. the BBQ concept loved and we will be back. highly recommended."
