"The service was poor, we asked for beer and we had to choose twice as they did not have the first two choices we wanted. My wife and my friends wife had to also choose twice as the wine they wanted was not available only the expensive wine was.Most of the food put out lacked appeal and freshness. The fish cooked for us was a cheap cut but nice. The calamari cooked for us was still raw and tough. They then bought out the half lobster each that was part of our buffet. The lobster was not cooked correctly as the cheese was only on a small part and the lobster was old and tough. The lobster had bee frozen prior to cooking.The four of us who ate there tonight would never go back nor could we recommend this place.The staff must learn manners and smile and be more friendly. NEVER AGAIN."

"Fresh seafood (fresh oyster, salmon sashimi, prawn, scallop, abalone, crab, etc) and an extensive range of desserts are what I like the most about New Quay International Buffet. They don’t try for the quantity but the quality. Mostly Asian cuisine or Asian style so don’t expect a lot of steak, grills, or good bread."

"This is a low service place they take a plate and help them get off the buffet, the four of five dressed, mostly curries and salate. all dishes are clearly marked gf or not. lines can be long at peak times. go on and get them more of what they want, then pay what they are on the way by falling their donations in the box. also standorte in st kilda, footscray, preston and sydney."

"Super tasty sri Lanka buffet, $15 in the week, $20 in the weekend. all dishes bar one tonight were gluten-free and all clearly marked and all vegetarian dishes are vegan! pay attention to the papadums that are not gf. low risk of cross-contamination, since most foods are gf and there are separate servier spoons for each dish."
