"I was a cracker barrel my whole life, but now I'm Bob Evan's fan! Barbara was a fabulous server. She was informed about the menu and gave great recommendations. Quick delivery of drinks and checked several times for us. She made this whole breakfast experience a pleasant one! Will be back again and again."

"Matthew was fantastic, which alone gave the review 2*. We got potato skins, which were dry... My boyfriend got a cheeseburger, that he loved! I got chicken that was also very dry, my Caesar salad had eggshells in it, but the Mac and cheese was really good! Would go back for the service, maybe not the food, especially since in total we spent about $70"

"Well, we often go for the salad bar, which is usually good and well stocked. Except for the fact that they mix their beets with onions and I happen to love beets and hate onions. But that is just a personal preference. This time though, the soup of the day was empty, which was disappointing, but there is always the standby chicken noodle which will suffice. But today, within minutes of arriving back at my table from the salad bar, my entre arrived. Thus creating the dilemma, do I enjoy the perfect salad I just built, or forego that in order to eat my giant cod sandwich fries which will not taste nearly as delightful cold. But, I can't take the salad home if I don't finish it. And so, disappointed, I tried to strike a balance between the two. Deciding in the end to take half of the sandwich and fries home and finish the soup salad. Although I will add, the tiny little strawberry muffins on the soup bar were perfectly made and I had 2! So we politely offered constructive feedback to the waitress, which she graciously accepted, left our tip and departed. I hope the story of our little dining experience was helpful to someone."

"Food and service are generally good. Generally, not a place to bring the family, i.e. kids, during the latter part of the evening. Tends to be loud and adult legal beverages have, or are, kicking in. Lunch to late afternoon is fairly tame. I usually order traditional wings spicy garlic sauce and the street tacos w/fries. They have a lot to choose from on the menu: salads, wraps, burgers. They also have a good, reduced price lunch menu."

"Stopped by for a midweek lunch. We had originally stopped on the previous Friday but they were closed due to some water issue from an upstairs apartment. There is not a lot of seating inside. I think there are about 7-8 tables with some of them able to seat four people and other some four people. We noticed they did a good amount of carry-out while we were there. Parking was a bit of a challenge as all I saw was street metered parking $1 per hour. The Dirty Bird is also located on a one-way street and there are other one-way streets in the area as well. We parked on Walnut Street which is just past the eatery, we turned right and parked on the left side as this is a one-way street as well. This place gets fresh chicken delivered every day and they advertise that it is halal as well. Please know the hours they are opened can be affected by the number of people who come in on a particular day. They close once they run out of chicken. Pretty sure most items are cooked to order so it can take a little while for your order to come up. Our visit lasted one hour and twenty minutes. We got a four-piece fried chicken and a Dirty Bird chicken sandwich. The fried chicken was lightly breaded and tasted good but the Dirty Bird was fabulous. It had two thick chicken breasts which were breaded on a biscuit. It has brown gravy, and egg, bacon, cheddar cheese and sausage gravy on it. The sausage gravy was excellent and the cheddar cheese was great on it as well. The picture I posted with this review says it all. If you are a first timer then know that you order at the counter and they will bring it to you when it is ready. There are some menus at the counter to look at before ordering and they do a pretty good job of cooking the orders in the order they receive them so you can feel a bit rushed if there is a line. Even more so if you are by yourself and want to eat inside, especially, if there is a table open when you arrive. This is the first place I have been to in a long time where the food was topnotch and everything went smoothly. Would I go again? Absolutely! How far would I go out of my way? 1 hour (maybe a little further)"

"Under new management and fantastic! Everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing. Choosing our meals was a challenge. We finally decided on the smoke burger with onion crisps and smoked ketchup, and the blackened chicken penne with vodka sauce. Both dishes were fantastic. The burger was HUGE, and done just as ordered (medium). The pasta dish was enough to share, and still have leftovers. The chicken is local, organic Amish raised chicken and was wonderful. <br/>If you haven't been here before, or haven't been here in a while, I recommend you try it out. Your taste buds will be happy."
